In my early 20s, I started to feel lower back pain that quickly transitioned into me not being able to stand on my feet for long periods of time.

As a professional dancer, this was not how I wanted to live my life. Because of my knowledge of Pilates through my dance career, I thought it might be a good idea to begin taking classes. As a dancer, mat Pilates was always a part of my life, and incorporating the use of an apparatus helped me to appreciate the profound benefits Pilates has to offer.

Hello! I’m Carleigh.

I started to feel a shift in the way I carried myself. As I started to feel better, I knew there was magic here that needed to unfold. I instantly wanted to help other people find what I found!

In 2010, I got my first certification and began teaching full-time in 2011. Now, more than ten years later, I proudly use four certifications to create an individual training plan for each client that addresses your unique goals and physical needs. My certifications include Body Arts and Science (BASI), Foundation Training, Neurokinetic Training (NKT) and Body Ready Method (BRM). I love learning about the science of the body and mind and sharing it with you to help you reach your fitness and lifestyle goals, pain free!

I work with clients at all stages of life, but becoming a mom gave new meaning to my work with prenatal and postnatal clients.

I primarily focus on postural work, emphasizing that proper body movements have the power to help tremendously with the reduction of common problems like back, knee and shoulder pain. I often work with clients who suffer from injuries, as well as prenatal and postnatal clients. Pilates and Foundation Training is especially useful for improving overall health and fitness at any fitness level. My clients know that there is no end to learning about your body!

In 2024, PBC got it’s newest member.
